U of M Marching Band Our Minnesota Turning the M

University of Minnesota Rouser: U of M Marching Band at 2009 Homecoming ...

University of Minnesota Marching Band 2009 Homecoming Pregame Show (part 1)

I am typing this post just to let you know I do check it once in a while. Today I am sitting in a class about web 2.0 stuff and on top of the other stuff I have learned we are adding in things about twitter. These new items are things I have heard about but haven't had time to do anything with yet. The one thing that gets frustrating is that for each of these new web 2.0 things I have new log ins and new passwords that I have to keep track of. I wish there was a good way to keep track of all of your passwords for everything that you do online for things. We are also talking about back channel chat where you can make comments with people while you are watching a video or event on line. todaysmeet.com was the web site we used. This allows you to create a chat room for a certain time frame for an event. You can also put in a twitter hashtag, (more about this later). Today's meet is a live talk thing but you can't preview what gets posted so you need to monitor while using. Curriki was another site that we looked at today which allows you to post and look at curriculum items that people post. Edublog doesn't require an e-mail address to have a blog. Now we are talking about XtraNormal which is an online movie maker. You can create characters, type in what they want to say, record your own voice, and send or post it where you need to. Blabberize you can make a character talk. Wordle lets you create a list of work and they make a picture out of them, and the picture makes connection. Links to videos to teach you how to use twitter are on the ecmecc page.
